Yes, that'll be the biiiiig mega over my head project.   

The port mod I'm confident about though.  I've only occasionally dabbled with FRED in the past, doing the tutorial.  All I know is that it's a long, drawn out process.  Me very scared.

Fred 2 is a piece of cake, Just do the tutorial in Freddocs, then play with the SEXPS you havent used. Then open campaign missions to see how they're put together and you shouls have an "initmate knowledge" of it.
