The prob with this kind of stuff is you already know whats going to happen sort of.... like when Jango and Obi go into battle, you know Obi won't die because he's in later episodes.. heh

Well, the thing with LOTR is that Tolkien bassicly put women on a "pedastel" Meaning that they weren't vitally important (excluding Galadriel) Because LOTR was written in the 20's and 30's when men thought women were weak. So basicly the bloody idiot, well was a bloody idiot. I think.
+ Lucas did screw up Ep1 but Ep2 looks promising. (better acting)
And this is not the vader sounds one. (I thought that was good)

the pb of episode 1 is not the acting, it's the plot. you can't do more plain and dull...
plus I don't get what you mean about Lotr lol
I see no reason why they added this ridiculous love story in the movie, plus if I remember well, Eowyn is nothing like a weak woman in the book, she even fights the king of the servants of the ring.

The thing is, she doesn't appear until well into book 2... there's that one elf-girl, but that's it. And I agree, LOTR does NOT need a love story in it, and I worry a lot that trying to put one in might cause serious damage.

But I agree with you on the Lord of the rings!  That looks awesome!  Every time me and my friends go to see a movie, we always whisper 'lord of the rings' under our breath after a trailer ends (hoping they'll show the LOTR trailer)   lol  we got quite a few people chanting one time!   hehehehehe

Hehe, no kidding. I'm constantly amazed, and I'm saddened by what the world is missing out on... And that's exactly why they feel like they have to throw a love story in, to appeal to the masses who haven't read the book and will ONLY see it if there's some of that.   Ah well, As long as it doesn't interfere with everything else, I'll be happy.

That's the cool thing about prequels too, though - you know, to a certain extent, how things are going to turn out, so it's to know how it all happened beforehand.
