In related news, there will only be 400k units for the US and 100k for Japan.

I hope I can grab one so I can make a killing on eBay.

Well, on day one.  They're hoping to shift 2m by the end of the year, which represents a halving of their (only a month ago) previous plans.  Looks like the Wii is going to clean up over this one.

$600 for the PS3, a few thousand on eBay. :D

IMO I don't give a damn what Sony does with the PS3. They charge $600 for a bloody console that most likely has pretty much the same power of a 360 and remove the vibration to save space or something similar. It's a joke IMO.
To consider the Earth as the only populated world in infinite space is as absurd as to assert that in an entire field of millet, only one grain will grow. - Metrodorus of Chios
I wept. Mysterious forces beyond my ken had reached into my beautiful mission and energized its pilots with inhuman bomb-firing abilities. I could only imagine the GTVA warriors giving a mighty KIAAIIIIIII shout as they worked their triggers, their biceps bulging with sinew after years of Ivan Drago-esque steroid therapy and weight training. - General Battuta

Frankly SONY's attitude has pissed me off a long time ago. I hope they fail just so they will learn the word "humility".

The only reason I'd even consider to buy one of those oversized coasters would be MGS4, or a Ratchet and Clank sequel.  Or God of War 3.  That's it.  Wii for X-Mas!

The launch of Final Fantasy XII has been delayed too....

It's a POS anyway. :p

No chance of me buying a PS3 after the last few Square games.

POS?
Why?There will be an FFXIII "soon".
I love that series mostly because of Bahamut...all my nicks have refereces to him, except LieutenantGeneralMobius which is a military one I use only here,at GW and GW-Italy.
An image of Bahamut is present in my HLP Card!!!

POS: Pile of ****.

FFXIII looks to me like it'll just be FFXII with shinier graphics and gameplay that's even more monotonous. FFXII was bad enough.

Re: The death of PS3; European launch delayed to March 2007
Well,I don't have FFXII.I don't know if its good or not,but I'm not surprised. The have continued making the saga without its creator...

Every FF is completely different from any other(world, characters). You can't consider the FFXIII an upgraded FFXII. FFX-2 wan't an upgraded FFX,so....

If there's bahamut in FFXII,it's good.

Bahamut went downhill since VIII, FFVII's Bahammut zero is the best of the bunch.

Re: The death of PS3; European launch delayed to March 2007
What do you intend for "went downhill"?Maybe what I think?
Bahamut Zero is the best one, using an USilv to devastate the enemies(see HLP Card Game)!
In FFVI Bahamut was awesome. In FFIX he was the protagonist of many computer graphics inter-movies. COOOOOOL!!!
FFX's bahamut is the worst.Wings like a bird,strange Mega Flare...bleah!
How's Bahamut in FFXII?

Bahamut Zero from FFVII

*Bahamut pics*

If this hotlinking gets me banned, i'm selling the internet to Arabs...........

don't forget the Bahamut as seen in FF7: AC, which one is currently gracing my desk

i'm generally under the impression that Square-enix is the only real reason playstation's kept afloat after all this time, and with other dev's going multiplatform these days, even that's tenative at best.
