Wiki: Remote Images

Quick question, is it possible to embed remote images on the Wiki?  I tried, and seeing as I failed, I should probably assume that the aswer is no.

Purpose: to load images on the FS2 Status Page of the Wiki that would dynamically show the online/offline status of servers.  Didn't work on the 1st go, so I simply linked to the images from this post.

If remote images are blocked because they'd be a nightmare from a reviewer's standpoint, I understand perfectly.  Not necessary because I was still able to accomplish what I wanted to do... just checking.
