No amount of ritual sacrifices will save his sorry ass now.
Be warned: This site's admins stole 100s of hours of my work. They will do it to you.

Yep, he is doomed to life of comfy retirement on his ranch. Poor son-of-a-*****, nobody deserves a fate like that.

Oh, no doubt about that, but at least he'll try to soften the blow by pushing these resignations.
Spoon - I stand in awe by your flawless fredding. Truely, never before have I witnessed such magnificant display of beamz.
Axem -  I don't know what I'll do with my life now. Maybe I'll become a Nun, or take up Macrame. But where ever I go... I will remember you!
Axem - Sorry to post again when I said I was leaving for good, but something was nagging me. I don't want to say it in a way that shames the campaign but I think we can all agree it is actually.. incomplete. It is missing... Voice Acting.
Quanto - I for one would love to lend my beautiful singing voice into this wholesome project.
Nuclear1 - I want a duet.
AndrewofDoom - Make it a trio!

If anything, the Democrats should be thanking him--he's lessening the temptation for the majority to start tearing every member of the administration to shreds and therefore making a showing as overconfident, greedy pricks in 2008.

Given that it didn't hurt the republicans in 2000 I don't see why that should be such an issue.
Karajorma's Freespace FAQ. It's almost like asking me yourself.

Not the same.  The Republicans had held the majority for six years by the time 2000 had rolled around, so I'd say the American public had been quite happy with them by that time.  The Democrats in 2006, on the other hand, were only elected because the public is telling the Republicans that they've gone too far and need to straighten up.  The American people aren't embracing liberalism or the Democrats; it's simply a case of the lesser of two evils, and if the Democrats do anything to tarnish their image in Congress and the Republicans center themselves, they're in for a huge problem in 2008.
