Dude. That's not canon. It wasn't revealed in the main FS2 storyline.

Yes, but in case you hadn't noticed, someone was citing the information it contains, and when told it was not canon, presented it as proof that it was canon. Good work, team.

Argh... I really hate those timelines. People reference them too much, they should be hidden down deep somewhere, replaced with ones based on FULLY-CANON ones or something (keep the Unification War timeline, the TVW timeline and the Post-Capella timeline since there's no real canon evidence to those really).

I agree with you... but there's much dissent about this in the wiki forum... I'm not sure if a final solution will be readily available.

uh oh... You know where this is headed... post-capella stuff from HLP being considered pseudo-canon.  Actual canon is the next step... and I'm forbidden to mention what may come next.

Oh God. DON'T let that happen. I really don't want it to come down to this, but if new members or browsers happen to go over the Wiki and think that the information there is canon, then I say we may have to either delete the info or move it to another 'split' wiki (though this may just complicate matters).

Didn't this almost happen, when someone went and said that Inferno was canon?

I would have thought they would have concluded that whole conspiracy before the end of freespace 2 rather than carry it onto freespace 3

FS --- 3 was probably supposed the conclusion to the series, not FS2 (or did :v: already know they wouldn't be able to make an FS3?).
