It was pointed out today that many of the wiki articles are out-of-date or simply incorrect. What's the deal? We've got at least half-a-dozen sets of install instructions running around. I'm pretty sure I've seen a couple extra tutorials hanging out. I've stated to anybody and everybody who seemed interested to listen that I'm willing to answer whatever questions they might have.

The wiki is only really useful if people use it as a central resource, rather than going off and doing their own thing. What would it take to bring some more writers onboard?

I have enough trouble checking new stuff and I don't have time to even work on the TBP shiplist anymore.

My particular problem is that I'm too new to the engine to feel comfortable writing about it.

The ones who DO know the engine are usually too *busy* to write about it.

Catch-22.

I really do like the wiki - and once I get a little better with the engine, I'll make sure I contribute something.  I just don't think I know enough about it yet.

Write about it anyway.

It's much quicker for someone who knows to come along and correct your writing than it is to write the whole thing from scratch. Cause the stuff you get right we can keep.

Hey Gents,

Was just browsing through the wiki again after getting my system set up again, and I see what you're talking about as out of date. I've got quite a bit of free time this week, and I'm willing to go through the wiki and clean them up and try to make the presentation clearer.

If someone was already working on heavy revisions, then let me know so I don't redo any work, but if no one is, then I'll go ahead and do them.
