A portable node? that might be helpful in missions like the end...
Command: the Capella star has gone nova
Alpha 1: *looks at HUD display* I'm 10,000m from the node Command!

Now in the game, unless u play w/ the acceleration MOD or something, u die...unless u have a portable node!  

Would it work for an intersystem jump though or only an intrasystem jump?

I was thinking you'd use it to kinda move the normal inter-system node. Sorta like sticking an extension cable onto a node so you could enter it from wherever the NodeShip was.

update,
now she has some clothes,
some UV work still needed to be done on the arms, and textures are only half done if even that, but as you can see she is quite clothed
