New Replies Deletion?
How can I delete something from new replies so that it doesn't come up until I post in the topic again. Say I posted in "A Celebration Of FreeSpace" and I didn't want it to show up in "Unread Replies". How would I make this happen?

Thx.

Re: New Replies Deletion?
At the bottom above the quick reply box, click notify and it will as if you want to change your notify status on that topic.

Re: New Replies Deletion?
"Notify" just enables E-mail notification.

Re: New Replies Deletion?
thats the point of it...my problem is that the e-mail notification isn't working even though it is checked in my profile options and nearly all my topics i posted in are notified.

Re: New Replies Deletion?
No No No, I just want to prevent a topic from showing up in unread replies, not my email.

Re: New Replies Deletion?
go into your profile settings and then go to "notifications and email". The rest is self-explanatory.

Re: New Replies Deletion?
That doesn't allow me to turn off a single topic, though.

Re: New Replies Deletion?
I don't think you can for a single topic, but when browsing a forum/subforum, there's a "Mark Read" button at the top right which will mark the whole forum as having been read by you.

yes, you can. Under the email notification check boxes  and stuff, you'll see a list of all the topics your receiving notification on. check/uncheck and then hit "unsubscribe" to not get notifications on that topic.

Re: New Replies Deletion?
If anyone sorts this out so that it works like they want it to, let me know how you did it.. would prove useful to me... BTW, is there a way to make a single topic pretend you've posted in it, and show up in "unread replies"?

Re: New Replies Deletion?
notify? that works for me...but for some reason since i left for my vacation a week or so ago i stopped getting e-mails...
