So I was trying to play through Derelict and I've got the shuttle bug on the "Rites of Passage" mission. I'm a good forum-ite and I did look it up: http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,43446.msg897633.html#msg897633

It's a pretty hilarious bug actually. However, dying five times and pressing "skip" doesn't get me by it for some reason. Someone had posted a solution that involved using FRED to modify the model of the space station, but I fear I'm way to dumb to attempt that. If it's not asking too much, could someone who's already doctored the mission (or knows how to) send me their version of the .vp file?

firstly:-



I believe the problem is a wonky faustus model, are you using the mediavps? Check your Derelict folder for a file called mod.ini, open this up in notepad and check there is a line nr the bottom that says secondary list = mediavps or somesuch. Make sure that mediavps is the spelt the same as your mediavps folder. If all this is okay, then I believe that if you use the older FSOpen 3.6.7 you can play this mission through and then switch back to 3.6.9.

PLEASE notice that if you are suffering it, YOU ARE NOT USING MEDIAVPS. So you are really missing tons of eye-candy.
