Your logic makes perfect sense there. It's all a matter of perspective really. People tend to play MMOs because they offer a temporary release from the world. Escapism is when you purposefully and always try to stay logged on.

That's all just a matter of personal preference.  One gamer prefers pointing an AK-47 at a terrorist's head, while another prefers running off with his Horde brethren to slay a giant dragon for some loot.  Tomato, tomahto.

Nah..there's a difference between having higher standards and having no standards at all.

Saying that everything is equally good, only we have different preferences is redicolous.
Mind you, MMO's aren't THAT bad, it's just that their potential is not used..almost nothing at all.
