Missing textures... or something.

Okay, I just downloaded Freespace 2 again today because of its awesomeness. However, when I downloaded it here and started to play it, I noticed about half the ships seem to be missing textures or something. They have these weird gray and white stripes all over them instead of their normal skin. Am I missing a file or something? Can someone please help me with this, it's rather distracting. :[

Ah, I should have looked more thoroughly. I just found another topic dealing with the subject. Feel free to delete this thing.

Bah, don't be too concerned. It is good to know that you've already managed to solve this issue and are able to continue playing. Welcome aboard. And there's nothing wrong with asking, even if some questions are asked far too often.
