project sylpheed... PC?
Hi there, I've got news for us die hard space sim pc fans:

I've been in contact with duane colbert from microsoft in order to ask him for a possible PC port of the promising project sylpheed on X360 and interestingly, he said that if a sufficient number of voters manifested an interest in the PC port of the game, then game arts studio in japan might consider releasing a PC version.

I need your support now, guys: Who would like to play project sylpheed on PC and allow us to exploit the joys of this promising title?

I vote!

All interested persons, please post! Also, if you have knowledge of other space sims communities, please speak up so we can present this petition to them.

Re: project sylpheed... PC?
I... uh... have you ever PLAYED the game?

I've heard it's astoundingly good at balancing over the line between mediocre and BAD.

Re: project sylpheed... PC?
The only thing that will be fixed by a PC port will be the control scheme and possibly the frame rate.

The mediocre voice acting, short campaign and unimpressing start will have to stay as they are.

Otherwise, after briefly glancing at this game for a few minutes, i wouldn't mind it.
Fun while it lasted.

Then bitter.

Re: project sylpheed... PC?
Yes, but it will still be one more PC space game out there. I know I wouldn't mind.

So, do your posts count as votes? Or are you simply stating your opinions?

In the future, please write "I vote" if you agree.

Can we show this thread anywhere else?

Re: project sylpheed... PC?
Is this any relation with the classic game Silpheed?

I've got it on xbox and it warrants a lowly 4 out of ten on the Dekker scale. Although it's pretty it's also pretty bad :(
Campaigns I've added my distinctiveness to-

Re: project sylpheed... PC?
That's a nice descent4 petition the descent fans have here. Perhaps I would need the same for project sylpheed...

Come on: More voters, if any!

I usually don't play anything but RPG's on consoles...

No opinion then since I never played it (sorry Starlord)...

Re: project sylpheed... PC?
game arts has responded to my attempts: This should now confirm you the fact that we need more voters.
 It all comes to that.

Hi, Mikael

It was nice to talk to you about Project Sylpheed for Xbox 360.
I understand how eager you are for Sylpheed for PC, and at the
moment we have no plan but if there is any possibility of releasing
the title for pc in the future( the possibility of being commercially
justifiable) , we will let you know.
Taking this opportunity, I would like to thank you for your interests in
Game Arts and Project Sylpheed. Please keep an eye on Game Arts
in the future too.

Best Regards
