got roped into an hour long facebook chat with one of my campers from back when i was a counselor at the NE summer camp.  that kid worries too damn much.  i don't know how many more times i'm going to have to say "you work harder than me and i made it through without problems, you'll be fine" before he will believe it.

EDIT: Song came to mind when I read the last two words. I've dealt with those kind of people before. I've found they're more interested in convincing you, rather than being convinced




On a different note, I'm back to essentially square one which is not a good thing. Don't see getting out of the hole I've made anytime soon, if ever

I'm a furry by the way. I'm just not into the sickening, creepy **** the most visible part of the fandom is. In fact, I refuse to be associated with the fandom at all.

I've been searching for it for ages. From my end it seems that there is no way to turn it off, which confuses me greatly, as I've combed through my profile multiple times. It might just be me being tired, though. I have a tendency to miss obvious things when tired.

It's there, under "Look and Layout", search the tick box that says "Leave words uncensored", and tick it.

just watched life of pi.  pretty good, but there were many "what teh **** is going on?!?" moments.

Well, there were plenty of moments like that in the book, so it's only staying faithful to the source material. :)


On that note, if anyone's wondering, the movie is very, very faithful to the book. All they cut out was one sequence where Pi goes temporarily blind from starvation near the end, but I can understand how that wouldn't work so well in a movie format.

Also a lot of Pi's hilarious argument with the Japanese guys, but that would have dragged on too much.

I got a motorcycle last Tuesday, a Honda CBR250R. It's been a great little bike so far and I feel like a total badass, even though a 250 is basically just a scooter that looks like a sportbike.

Also, 70-80 MPG (because I am supposedly hideously underweight). Suck it, Prius hippies!
