The story of my last term in Miami. I was in a "lake"-front dorm on the lowest level looking out towards the lake. Since one of my roommates was addicted to smoking, the screen dore was more often than not open. And in Miami, that means that roaches can & will crawl into your dorm if for no other reason than to terrify you.

And yes its terrible. One more reason to convince dear old to let me get a ****ing apartment.

I once found a cockroach taking residence on top of my shower soap. This is why I've moved back home.

apartments are no good because you never know id they're already infested till you take up residence and sign the lease. they will always show you a nice and pristine version of the slums that they rent. or you can just move to alaska. the only roaches you see around here is whats left when youre too wasted to finish your joint.

But isn't it twenty miles to the nearest seller of pringles, chocolate and soft drinks? That must be annoying when you're on your way to being wasted but still at a point where you think you can make it to the shops. . .

Then ill hunt around and find one that says any infestations found within the first month or something are the owners problem to deal with it to finality.

And I haven't been cut any breaks. Apparently drinking 1.5-2l of water daily isn't enough. Then again a quart of Starbucks café latte wasn't really planned in. I went to bed after a bloody nose and woke up with a bloody nose 8 hours later ( 7 hours of sleep!)

its not that we cant get junk food and soft drinks, its that theyre ****ing expensive. i mean its cheaper to buy weed. i normally bake a pie or cookies for munchies (though i still have to pay the 5 bucks a day for the 4 liters of coke i normally consume)

So a little rodent was caught on the mouse trap in my room. That just gives me warm fuzzy feelings! A small one, but still disgusting. I heard it because they sort of "cheep". Apparently this one got stuck and had the bright idea of rolling over to one side; it's not escaping.

I once 'accidently'  lit a catherine wheel (you know the ones that go *FIZZZ* and spin) in my bedroom and to avoid the inevitable result of having a lit firework in ones living space, hoiked it out of my window.

Going to the State Debate Tournament tomrrow and the day after.  Spending tomorrow night in Wichita because 3+ hours each direction is not a good way to start off a morning.

As for today, heading off to an anime-based bible study in about 45 minutes.  Best bible study EVAR!

Dekker, mum already knows about that, she kind of sussed it when she came hom and the air in the house had a slight red hue and that one of the quilts had a red hole burnt through it. That and also David told her when he was drunk on magners cider.
