I'm 17 and I don't care already.  I won't drink when I'm old enough, so it doesn't matter.  Although, I can finally get a full driver's licensce at 18, but that's more of a convenience than a necessity or real desire.  I did get lucky with the date though.  My birthday is two days before my High School Graduation.

Anyway, I should really be getting to bed, since I need to be at the school at seven tomorrow to get to the State competition.

My one-month-and-ten-day-long vacation is finally here. I've installed Trackmania Nations Forever, and am enjoying it so far.

Great game, that. I have the United version, but Stadium (the environment that you play in on Nations) is good fun by itself, and if you play online most servers will run only Stadium tracks to allow both Nations and United players to participate.

Yeah I'm 17 too, know what you mean about not really caring about birthdays.
In Scotland, you can really drive, drink, or shag at any age you want and nobody really gives a crap...not that I have money to do any of those things, so therefore not bothered about turning 18 in a few months. It'll just be another day with presents and better food than usual

Hmm.... try downloading iobit's (www.iobit.com) GameBooster (actually, I'd recommend downloading Smart Defrag and Advanced System Care Free from them, too).

See if this gives you a significant boost.  (I have been using them for quite some time, they are EDIT: very good.)
