today i learned how to use an arduino to induce a headache

So I was all wilfully/deliberately reckless and I wrote on my ex-girlfriend's Facebook page "Hey <her name>... I know this might come across as kinda creepy, but I can't think of any better way to ask:do you ever think about me any more, other than right when I've messaged you?" and posted it  (semi-accidentally... that lack of a space after the colon there is because I meant to type a space there, but the browser interpreted it as me wanting to trigger the 'share' button)

So I went back to work today, a Saturday. The rules in place state that, whenever I work on a weekend, I get one day's leave, so I've just earned myself a free day of rest for one extra day of work. Now, on which day next week should I put it ... I can't put it on a Monday because I have a project due on that date, and although I'd like to put it on Friday, I might be asked to go back to work next Saturday. Ideally, I should settle for the Monday after next, but I'm not sure if my day's leave will still be valid by that time.

While at work today, I spoke to a freelancer doing one of Emoxis' projects. She gave me a few words of advice regarding the company, which I'm certain will be useful when communicating with the full-time staff here.

This does not change the fact that "mortality" is still the first word that comes into my mind whenever I start a day of work, though. I'm really hoping that I can replace it with no words over time.

thats kinda harsh.  while not something i personally would probably do, it's a legitimate question.

I'm usually not really the kind of person that enjoys watching candid camera-style pranks being pulled on people, but watching this had me in stitches.
