Oh, I really do. There's this nice/smart girl in my communications workshop at uni who I somehow developed a thing for, after only talking once for a whole lesson. And that was like, two months ago. I'll see her tomorrow at my last exam, political science, but I most likely won't be able to speak to her. I need to get out more and avoid these situations.

I'm an idiot for missing the 12 hour facebook window.

Just get your arse over to her and ask her out already.

I have recycled an old outline that calls for 28 missions, using only Retail assets. I'll have to build them from the ground up, though.

This also doesn't count the planned addition of (at this point, the number will go up) 16 tech room entries and 12 Fiction Viewer entries.

i dabbled in FRED briefly way back before the SCP.  i laid the basic battle space for the mission and had a mental outline for the plot, but never went past that.

True enough! I think she made eyes my way this morning in the exam...might get pissed tonight and come home with the confidence to send that friend request and try and start talking.

That's how I approach the situation. I can talk to anyone and even throw a few compliments or flirts their way without a single problem
Then I go home and drink



Raved it out in the dishpit regardless of it being busy as ****. Had a conversation with one of the servers regarding the ability to be sneaky. She insisted that she could be sneaky enough to launch a rack full of wine glasses at me. I insisted that I would be able to see this massive ****ing blue rack coming towards me

Later, told her it's impossible for her to be sneaky. She's too beautiful, you can't help but notice her presence

x2.  i believe this is because my approach is sarcasm and smartassery, which works wonders as far as meaningless flirting is concerned but fails miserably at starting or advancing serious relationships.  and sarcasm is my natural defense mechanism against seriousness and awkwardness.  the one real girlfriend i've had HATED this. 

i also seem to attract genuine wackos.  even with a willful effort to suppress any sort of flirt or charm and fall back to the most basic level of politeness possible.

I feel you. Smartassery is big in my book as well, though I'm not sarcastic as much as just a 99th percentile piss-taker with a bit too much confidence.

Haven't wooed any whackos in a little while, but have done great with girls a year or so younger than me (not too bad) and ex-girlfriends from way back (pretty bad) lately. Dammit! And she still hasn't accepted my friend-request. I'm going out clubbing tonight to some 90's flashback event, hopefully I'll meet someone my age there.
