The person in particular called me a "depraved heathen" for not condeming it on the spot.  And then went on to describe everything that wasn't his personal faith to be "inflicting hardships" on him just by existing and the a perfect America would be one where everyone believed what he did.

Needless to say I ended the conversation soon after.

Ugh. Those types of people disgust me. I remember there was once a group of preachers in a shopping mall in town, going around with a megaphone yelling Bible quotes. I went straight up to them and told them that they were an affront to the faith (my faith) that they claimed to be representing. Of course it didn't faze them one bit, but I felt better knowing I'd expressed myself. Complaints from the public got them banned from the place a few days later.

i have returned from the woods, i caught 4 dollys and 2 small salmon of unknown species. some of them were delicious, the others are in the freezer. i found the best way to stun a fish is to cut its head off, they wiggle too much for live disembowelment.

That kind of **** annoys me so much. I had a very, very long discussion on facebook about this with one of my fundamentalist mates, who insisted that they needed to be 'saved' and whatnot. It was extremely offensive to the LGBTI people reading it and those who had LGBTI relations posting on it. The inability of people to comprehend what's outside a 2,000 year old book is what astonishes me. We need a better education system.

In other news, ME3 Extended Cut hits in 3 days. Modded my ME2 save file, finally got around to changing my romance from Ashley to Liara. Imported into ME3, starting a fresh playthrough. Hopefully the EC delivers.

tempting, but i'm still holding out for the "No Origin" edition.

not having a laptop battery is more annoying that i figured.  i didn't realize before how much i used it for nothing more than being able to move from one static location to another without shutting down.  i'm currently tethered to my desk until a file finishes downloading in an hour and a half, but i'd much rather be relaxing in bed watching tv shows.

Civil discussions are good discussions. I have no idea why people have to resort to patronization and whatnot when they debate on the internet. It's as if the whole place has massive ego issues. :D But seriously, good on you. ME3 is good ****.
