Snail was on about how any random yahoo could simply give money to Interplay if they wanted to develop FS3.  They can't. Interplay don't own the all the IP most likely. As far as I can tell Volition have to agree to it too. In fact I vaguely remember one of the team saying that there was no way anyone could develop FS3 without their say-so.

Pretty much every campaign with a post-Capella setting is an unofficial FS3. So you wouldn't be saying anything at all by calling it that.

For the above, read "I will be offended."  Personally I can't see what is mature about getting offended by the title of a campaign, I'd see it very self-important but not offensive.

Heck, the Ancient-Shivan war could be FS3, I mean who's to say that prequels couldn't count as sequels?  Granted using Lucas-terms it would be more of a FS0, but still...
