I always thought that Halo would have had the budget and the good sci-fi story enough to be the first videogame movie that didn't suck.  Also, Peter Jackson was supposed to be involved, which would have contributed to it being properly epic and grand.

If they couldn't keep the story coherent in Halo 3, how could there be any illusions that a movie would do any better?

It didn't answer a lot of very obvious questions. And there were some disappointments -- the Covenant just kind of sputtered out, and the final two levels were a bit of an anticlimax.

m, I hope you are aware that is a fanvid and has no relation to any real Halo movie.

I thought the Wing Commander film featured a scene in which the entire crew of a spacecraft had to be very quiet to avoid detection by a Kilrathi ship. In space.

Considering his previous exploits here, it's quite possible he doesn't.

In space, no one can hear the audience laughing.

I actually enjoyed WC when I saw the movie, but the music was done by David Arnold, so I may be biased.

I didn't liked the movie that much but when I left I could still hear the title theme in my mind.

About the mentioned scene...yes its kinda funny and I reminded me very much about the movie "The boat" that also featured Jürgen Prochnow and there is also a similar scenen. I don't know maybe its just a joke for people who know the film.
As for the logical point. Yes its silly that someone would actually hear you. I could understand if he said he wants to listen to the radar if the kilrathi are still sending, whatever equalent of a radar is in the future and the instruments are still giveing that "ping" sound when a scan hits the hull.
Still there are enough other pionts in that movie that are strange.

One thing I liked a lot about the movie, beside the title theme is the hangar. Its fitting so very well into my imagination of the Claw beeing an old ship whos hangar has seen better days but now is just dirty and functionel.

"Yes! That is my plan, and I see nothing wrong with it. I figure that if I stick to a stupid strategy long enough it might start to work."
