We're having my work Xmas do on the Friday, so we're staying with her friend in London overnight. I mentioned I was swanning off to this the next day, and she wanted to come. I did warn her! 

Seriously though, you'll like her. She enjoyed Space: Above and Beyond, and if you really want to boogie, she'll take my place. I think she's fine with sci-fi. No plot spoilers for Battlestar Galactica allowed though! We've got to start again from the beginning 'cos I watched the first two seasons without her.
