Not only have the zeus and loki been done, but they're the most HTLified fighters yet. The zeus has 9000 polies IIRC.

However, I agree the knossos could definately use an overhaul.

I thought someone had already done an updated Arcadia? Or was that just a retexture? I know I've seen one that doesn't look like the retail version. And what I saw, even if it was just a retexture, it looked a damn sight better than the original.

I still vote for the Argo, seems easy to do (I wouldn't know for certain) and it's really really common in fs campaigns.

I want a NEW (not the one from Deviantart, though that guy's collie is good) HTL arcadia, based off that one shot in the FS1 opening, when the text 'Riviera Outpost Ros 128' appears at the bottom.

It's on hold, but it *is* in development: here.

I've been a bit side tracked by other things since, and it was built before normal maps happened - so I'll probably need to enhance or strip off some of the tiny details to bring it up to date. It'll get there eventually though - I'll see to that.

The game does not impose a limit. Your computer might, though.

I concur on the GTD Orion on the basis that it would be a lot more convenient to have an actual nameplate texture rather than a huge gaping hole in the side. And to keep it from duplicating the texture on the other side.

The one in the thread linked to is not what I'm thinking of. I could have sworn there was an Arcadia someone messed with that used some of the hull textures from a mod. I don't remember if they were EA hull textures or some of Darius' textures from Blue Planet. It looked a lot better to me than the existing Arcadia textures. I'll do some searching around the boards to see if I can find it.

EDIT: A quick search isn't turning anything up. I don't even remember what I'm looking for exactly though.

EDIT 2: On second thought, it may not be an Arcadia that I'm thinking of. It's possibly a fan created GTA installation.

Then use TrashMan's, which is slightly lower-poly, but its closer to the original model.
There's already two Orions. We don't need more at all, compared to those who don't have an upgrade at all...
