History of the Trinity campaign
I am glad to announce that the "history of the UFS Trinity" website is up and running.

Here's a VERY quick synopsis of the campaign: You have to escort the UFS Trinity back home to the Sol system after it mysteriously takes an impossible jump to the Polaris jump node area.

(Note that in this mod, very little is known about the Polaris area and most of the area beyond Antares and Vega, making it ever more dangerous for the Trinity.)
Here is the link to the site: http://www.spacew.com/trinity/

Any ideas, comments and suggestions are welcome as always. :D

Re: History of the Trinity campaign
Haha. True.  I can get a different look, but I'm going to keep it like that for now. Can you FRED and if you can do you have some spare time? I might need a little help, not a lot (Don't need the whole site trying to help ) but I might need some help/advice on some larger missions. I'll also need a tester, if you're up to it.

Re: History of the Trinity campaign
12 missions is the plan, but if I can figure out how to do a certain thing when creating the campaign file (I want a mission to play if such and such a thing happens, but I want a different one to play if such and such a thing happens,) then it will be 13 missions long. I've started to realize that a 40 mission campaign is a bit much for 1 person to FRED and test if the person wants to have it done in his/her lifetime. (No offense to Blaise Russel. Never played homesick the 40 mission campaign, won't work for me.)

"History of the Trinity" made me think of something else, which is already in the making.

Re: History of the Trinity campaign
It doesn't help that the title also sounds like the FS2 mission "Mystery of the Trinity".

Something I obviously don't know of.

It was one mission. Will it hurt to have a name that's sortof like it. Besides, I didn't even know of that mission's name and the similarities until now.

Re: History of the Trinity campaign
don't worry about that, as long as you have a good idea and the final product is fare enought, your campaign will always be very welcome.

Are you going to do the entire campaign all by yourself?

Re: History of the Trinity campaign
Sorry I haven't replied by now, but I might be able to FRED some and can and will[if allowed] test all misions for bugs.

I'm not sure yet. I'm pretty sure i'll need some help testing the missions. I'm also going to have some questions about packaging it all in a VP folder when it's over and done. As for FREDing, there may be one or two missions I'll need help with (not sure on that yet.) If you want to help FRED, then you can show me a previously made mission (your best please. :)) As for testers, just sign up and I'll call when I need them.

I know what you mean. Exams do suck. :hopping: So do bugs. You can never flush them all out.

Here's a shot of an Alien beam ripping the heck out of a Sathana's. (This beam will be used in the campaign.)  :)

I don't know why, but I'm guessing the the sathanas kicked ass in that battle...Maybe because the white beam does not look as frightening as the red ones  :beamz:

Sorry to disappoint you, but it lost... :eek2:

Maybe a larger beam would look better...
