Many of our fellow community members can already claim to be in 2009...how are the others' parties going? ETA to the new year here is about five hours and a half... :)

ETA 3 hours here in Czech Republic. I stayed away from partying this time, since I wanted to be with my parents and have like a buck atm xD

Axem -  I don't know what I'll do with my life now. Maybe I'll become a Nun, or take up Macrame. But where ever I go... I will remember you!
Axem - Sorry to post again when I said I was leaving for good, but something was nagging me. I don't want to say it in a way that shames the campaign but I think we can all agree it is actually.. incomplete. It is missing... Voice Acting.
Quanto - I for one would love to lend my beautiful singing voice into this wholesome project.
Nuclear1 - I want a duet.

Why do you all keep saying ETA?  Is there some uncertainty in when the new year arrives this time?

About 25 minutes remaining till 2009. Personally, I hope it will become better than 2008. But for the community it was ja good year, I think. Especially the last six weeks. :)

Still 6 hours and counting in the cool time zone.  Not that I'm expecting anything different from '09 than '08.  The years seem to be getting (mostly) ****tier as they go by.
