Re: Whatever happens in your life II: The Wrath of Khan

Boystrous 19 year old temp at work slapped me in the face with an envelope and laughed it off as playful. So I shoved him over a desk and laughed it off as playful. It's on camera so I can plead reasonable force.  Temp is now passive.

<Axem>   did anyone catch jesus' birth certificate?
<Nuclear>   and jesus didnt actually give the 5000 their fish...he gave it to the romans and let it trickle down
<Axem>and he was totally pro tax breaks
<Axem>he threw out all those tax collectors at the temple
<Nuclear>   he drove a V8 camel too
<Nuclear>   with a sword rack for his fully-automatic daggers

Esarai: hey gaiz, what's a good improvised, final attack for a ship fighting to buy others time to escape to use?
RangerKarl|AtWork: stick your penis in the warp core
DarthGeek: no don't do that

I've doing absolutely nothing because I have nothing to do but sleep and I'd rather not sleep, because it is boring sleeping because I am doing nothing while sleeping while I just lie there, doing nothing because I Am doing nothing it makes it boring. Ok, off to bed it is.

Getting ready for my last day of HAZWOPER, going to be in a fully encapsulated hazard suit with a supplied air apparatus on my back...while most of everyone else gets to kick back in regular clothes, I could've been rocking my Demonia RIOTs. :doubt:

:Edit:
Just got yelled at like mad for being in my room, apparently there were inspections going on that I was unaware of. There goes my morale for the day, I feel like **** now.

I skipped school today because I wanted to get some goddamn work done.

I upset my exgirlfriend last night. She IMed me all concerned because she saw me leave campus early yesterday and I got all paranoid and demanded to know who she was talking to. :\

Didn't sleep last night, so I read "Icarus Hunt" by Timothy Zahn in its entirety to pass the time.

Re: Whatever happens in your life II: The Wrath of Khan
I have decided that I hate Psychic Pokemon.

Lucian of the D/P Elite Four keeps kicking my ass. The other three I can take down with little to no trouble, but Lucian... it's his Medicham. ****ing Fighting/Psychic combo with the full range of elemental punches, meaning it has two counters to its main weakness: Flying. And the only Pokemon of mine with a Ghost move (its other weakness) is part Steel, which is weak to Fighting... ARGH! Also his Alakazam, which is just plain fast and powerful. Kept KOing me before I could even get a hit in. I have a move which I'm pretty sure would OHKO it (U-Turn wielded by an Azelf), but I can't use it fast enough!

Level-grinding it is, then. I'm not reattempting this until my team's at level 55. Strategy can only get one so far... eventually, you need some brute force on your side as well.

Re: Whatever happens in your life II: The Wrath of Khan
I remember that, back in the first generation of Pokemon, your rival (and Lance, I think) had Lv. 65 Pokemon. I played Emerald last year and Wallace had Lv. 58 Pokemon. My sister loved grinding in Yellow all the way until her Dugtrio reached Lv. 69.

Re: Whatever happens in your life II: The Wrath of Khan
If I can beat Lucian, I'll only have one Pokemon to truly worry about for the Champion: a level 66 Garchomp. Dragon/Ground combo with absurd Attack and armed with Earthquake, Dragon Pulse, and Giga Impact. I did make sure to have Ice Beam taught to one of my Pokemon... the only question is, will it be enough? 4x weakness is pretty good, but even at level 55 that's an 11-level difference, and Garchomp is among the most powerful non-legendary Pokemon in existance... :sigh:

Re: Whatever happens in your life II: The Wrath of Khan
*snip*
Hence the reason why I always have a ghost/dark pokemon on my team, as far as its possible. In Emerald it was Absol, and Leaf Green/Fire Red t'was Haunter.

And once, in Silver, my friend happily grinded my Pokemon all the way to 100, just so she could steamroll Red.

Anyway, I'm watching Gundam Zeta. Once I watch a few episodes, I'll install CoD4. My intrest got piqued when I watched a little kid playing it and being the FCO(or something) for a C-130 Spectre gunship.
