What does the R in NuRTIE stand for? NuReduxTIE?

Nah, I'm not planning on giving every model a different superlative.  I needed a new one for the TIEs because I already did a Nu series.  the NuY and NuX are the first redos.  The Star Destroyer is a toughie though, Nu⁴ISD?

I agree, that spider pattern doesn't fit.

very nice...but aren't the twin laser cannons too far apart? I dunno anymore, but it seems so.

As long as he said he followed the models (which IMO are the ultimate authority on this kind of thing) I trust brandx's judgment in accuracy. It looks great to me. Can't wait to vaporize them. Awesome job so far! ^_^b

I stand corrected, the spider pattern is evident on the TIE cockpit ball but it's very subtle.
