The blue blood effect remindes me of those floating red blobs from Doom2

LOL, I am playing through that game again and see those guys all the time. They are really easy; the brown ones that spawn the burning heads are much harder to kill.

but Pain Elementals are easy to kill if you sneak up behind them with a double berreled shotgun

I never got to play Doom2... Does anyone know where I can find it as abandonware? Same for Keen 4-6... I can't find them anywhere...

the game is old, but fun, I love those old games
(and a tip, the game is pretty easy, but like Descent, you'll get lost all the time)

I never got to play Doom2... Does anyone know where I can find it as abandonware? Same for Keen 4-6... I can't find them anywhere...

It seems that id is still selling this for a few dollars actually. I can hook you up with a copy, but I'm not sure if that's legit or not.

The game is extremely funny though; I am playing through it on ultra-violence difficulty and the levels are just full of monsters. In many places they are so tightly packed that they get each other angry (by accidentally hitting each other when firing at me) and attack themselves. That pig dude is just hilarious to watch when he tries to eat up something five times his size. :D

I seriously miss Keen. Jumping around and zapping monsters, man - I miss the entire platform-gaming genre.
