Yeah I love the AC20 and it is certainly more nasty looking but the P is a real hoot.  I have my HBK-4P mounted with two MLs in the arms for medium/long range then 6 SLs in the hunch and one more SL next to the head for brawling.  The SLs do about 3 damage a pop so seven together hit for 21 which is more than the AC20, don't require deflection and won't ever run out of ammo.

I once created an animation from this pic. Too bad it's "just" an artwork.

A small voice in my head tells me they are have followed us here in the Milky Way. They follow us until we are dead at their feet. We are nomands of the stars, no longer the race that was loved by the Great Elders. My name is Kyral and this is my story of survival.

There is no sanctuary for us, in this Universe. We will fight the Terror for one last time on this Shining World. May the Transcendent judge us kindly in the Life Stream.

Re: More Wallpapery goodness
I wasn't really thinking about editing until I realized that I made two posts. The first one was trying to make the [lv shot] tags, but I made a mistake, so I backspaced out of the posting not realizing it would post it. I used the tags off of Sigtau the second time.

So. . . I've learned my lesson. I guess :P

4 Engines, and it has digital instrumentation, so it isn't a 224.
Either a 747 or an A380.

Edit: Ooh, ooh, it's an A380, since the 747 has a yoke.

Re: More Wallpapery goodness
I think I may have seen a photo of the A380's cockpit before, and that photo looks familiar, so I'll guess A380 too.

Re: More Wallpapery goodness
Spoiler:
Well, it's certainly not a Boeing; Boeings have sheepskin covers on the cockpit seats. The sidestick controls, however, are the most obvious Airbus giveaway: all other manufacturers use the traditional centre yoke. As DireWolf noted, it has four engines: note the four throttle levers (on the centre console, numbered 1-4) and the quadruple engine indicators on the two centre displays.

So that leaves the two four-engined Airbus aircraft: the venerable A340 and the newer A380. The A340, being an older aircraft, has fewer displays (compare). Also, the A340 has the elevator trim next to the throttle levers (the big black-and-white wheels on either side), while on the A380 they seem to have mysteriously disappeared. The A380 is also the only one to have these funny bulges next to the throttle levers (nope, no idea what they are).

In short: cookies for all those who guessed A380 :)

That side-stick setup seems like it'd be really awkward to work with.  I've always played with my joysticks either resting in my lap, or on a board on my lap if that isn't practical, just to have it properly centered.

Re: More Wallpapery goodness
tbh off centre joy sticks dont bother me too much, but even for me being ambidextrous having the stick in my left hand seems awkward.

Hmm, I always put my joystick to the right of my PC for playing, with the keyboard right in front of me. Guess you can get used to either way.
