Wow, how did I know that the wallpapers you posted were from Trauma Center? (Actually, it's probably because it's the only Japanese fiction I know that's set in a hospital; you can thank TV Tropes for that.)

As far as I know, and I know very little, there is no other game series in the world quite like Trauma Center. The closest I can think of is Theme Hospital, and even that is so, so different gameplay-wise from Trauma Center.

Now that you mention TVTropes, ssmit, it was through looking at the Trauma Center article on TVTropes that I learnt that there is a lot of Derek-Angie fan fiction on the Internet. Forget fanfiction.net; I went to deviantART and found at least 25 different stories on the both of them.
