Most of the users who commented on this image on Danbooru say that Nanoha will definitely win in a battle between her and Sakura, unless if Sakura fights smart, in which case her chances of winning goes down by a little.

I have to admit, though, those are very good pictures.

I don't know what goes on deep in the culture, but... is there some rivalry between Nanoha and Sakura or something with their fanpeople?

It just sounded like rivalry/war/etc coming from those recent posts. So yeah just asking purely out of interest ( I'm starting to sound like a scientific researcher XD)

Not that they will but it would be pretty awesome if they would restore one of the Iowas to their WW2 configuration for museum purposes.  The stripped down refit versions pale in comparison to the all gun look they had before, just a mountain of 5 inch dual purpose, 40mm Bofors and 20mm Oerlikons.  Though the same could be said for the Essex class, the pre-hurricane bow/angled flight deck versions were just more rugged and bad ass looking.  It's a pipe dream but it certainly would look great if they did.
