No it means something changed about the demon - I had a look myself. The original displays the correct fully transparent look, but the MVP one has chunks (looks kinda related to which texture is where) that are not transparent, or are more or less transparent than they should be depending on what is in front of or behind them. :\

A lot of the models were modified for the new texture naming scheme, IIRC... maybe that's when these issues were introduced?

None of the others I checked seemed affected, so I dunno how the demon was. :\
