Alternative to Adobe After Effects?
Does anyone know of an cheap alternative to After Effects, I have used the 30 day trail and liked it but i simply can't afford or earn enough(student) to spend £750-900 on the software/license. So does anyone here know of any other products that to do the same but are at the price your average joe on minimum wage(UK) can afford i.e £150-250, maybe 350 tops?????

if there is any consistancy with the Shivans, it's their lack of consistancy - -Norbert-

Dunno about paid software but here's some free ones you can try out. You've got nothing to lose by trying them anyway, except time.

Doesn't Adobe offer student discounts? ::after-checking:: Yeah, here.

It looks like you can get the non-student version with a student discount (which is strange) for £466.48, or you can get it with a student license (you can't legally sell anything you make with it, according to them) as part of the production premium suite for £279.65.
