It is readily apparent that these will soon evolve into Combine Manhacks as seen in the future documentary video game Half-Life 2. Even now we can see how these proto-manhacks are already showing a tendency for melee combat. Below is a photo of a man desperately attempting to fend off a quadrotor swarm. It may be disturbing, but you all need to see this so that you'll know what we're up against.

Our comrade, General Battuta, has recently discovered some shocking new developments on the wilds of the internet: The quadrotors appear to be gaining a sort of swarm intelligence and have been observed creating music.

This is a sign of much more advanced and rapid cultural development than initially predicted. Quadrotors will clearly become a serious threat in the months to come. Make sure you still have your crowbars from the resonance cascade scenario and put in some batting practice. Remain vigilant!

I just read up on those hornets and they are impressive creatures, 100 km per day and 40km/h (about 25mph) flight speed

Hmm, pretty impressive how they manage to keep it balanced with the robot arm deflecting at that speed. And it flies up to 10 hrs with a 2.2kg payload (in horizontal flight, that is).

But the sound, damn, it sounds like a... Japanese mega-hornet?
