I just nick the original texture maps and (when I had a decent graphics proggy) play around with colour washes and brush effects....  I had a really good texture map for 'kills' (little graphics) painted on the side of fighters, but TS1 killed it

I had an idea like that a while ago... that was cool

Yay!! Got the turrets working for the first time today - now i can finally arm the damn thing      Incidentally, it's now a Destroyer / Heavy Assault Frigate, since I've lengthened it to roughly 1600m.  Let me add more guns without worrying as much about game balance    

Still got some problems though... see the main page

[edit] Damn, had to scrap that model and go into blender.... sides were a little out of synch (unsymetric). Changing to 2 gun turrets as well   [/edit]
