This hasn't been posted on the Inferno forum because it most likely won't be used in INF. As you can see, this superdestroyer has been named after the Orion that saved humanity twice.

That's a coincidence, indeed! Are you interested on the original armaments of the ship? I modified the INF table entry to use default FS2 weapons, so I don't know what the original one was armed with. Woomeister should have that table entry, though.

Just a warning that this model is really old, there were holes and other major problems with it which I fixed up as best I could.
And yes I did get permission to release it from Psycho before anyone asks

I, actually was planning on HTLing it. If you still have a 3ds or obj file that'd really help a lot, to get proportions, etc right, and I can't get it myself because I don't have truespace and my blender is borked.

Actually, I've known about the ships for several years, and I've always liked the design. Definitely a classic it seems.

Ooh, very cool.

Now, finally, can the United Space campaign itself be released?   When I talked to Snipes/Raa/Taristin back on the VWBB lo these many years ago, he said that the only thing keeping the campaign from being posted was the completion of the Bastion model.

What was that campaign about? Until Woo showed the Bastion off on INF internal, I didn't know anything about it.
