I just picked the plane because I could've defended that the easiest if somebody tried to take me up on it. I chuckled at plenty of other stuff too.

Well for one those planes are too small to be actual planes.  The Harrier jet has a wingspan of 8-10 m depending on which variant they flew.  Subway tunnels are a LOT narrower.  But yes, given the nature of the movie, who gives a flying frak?  That was awesome.
