HomeWorld is just so cool....Yesterday i played a game, filled my carrier whit fighters and corvettes and it's escort was 2 destroyers 2 missile destroyers and 3 ion cannon frigates a heavy cruiser and 2 assault frigates and finaly 2 gravity wells. Damn that was a big battle lost 95% of my forces, but i manged to destroye the main fleet only needed to kill the mothership that required some reinforcements but i was victorius !:) battle took almost a hour. But it was fun as hell.

try this for an interesting tactic for HW, fully load up a carrier with fighters & corvettes and hyperspace it along with as many HC's and destroyers as one could muster, right in front of the opposing mothership.  Works rather well, the resulting chaos ensures that you have a chance against a well defended enemy.

And yes, the Tai ships look much cooler than kushan ones. Except the Kushan destroyer, it look just like the Babylon 5 Warlock destroyer.

I happened to make a cross between the Taiidan Ion Cannon Frigate and the Raider Ion Array Frigate.  And I called it -- "The Gorgon Array"!

I should also have a complete model of the Taiidan Ion Frigate.  If I do, I'll make a POF out of it and send it to you.
