Just as a heads-up, GOG.com has a 50% off sale on all Interplay titles for the next two weeks.  That includes FS and Descent, of course, but also good stuff like the first two Fallout titles.  I think I'm finally going to grab extra copies of Descent and FS myself.

I've got a Visa gift card too.  But every time I try to make a purchase with it from GoG, the charge gets declined.  If your purchase with the card works, can you let me know how you did it?

If you have a confirmed paypal account, you can add the gift card as a credit card and it won't attempt to charge it to verify your identity.  If GoG accepts paypal, that should work no matter what.

I picked up Giants: Citizen Kabuto and installed a few of the graphics mods (http://www.giantswd.org/). It actually looks pretty nice with the texture bumpmapping! This was the first game that I can remember that did bloom before I knew what bloom was.

The Verification process varies somewhat from country to country.

In the US, a Verified member has either added and confirmed a bank account with PayPal or received approval for a PayPal Plus credit card.
