If I get a warning I always turn my fighter the way, that the radar shows only blank space in the middle. No big deal and never failed the mission.

I know this is thinking like a terran on this but the only issue i have with Playing Judas is the concept of the mission, in that the Shivans are not suspicious enough to investigate a fighter that turns up out of nowhere, fails to communicate at all, and then proceeds to aimlessly fly around the node and depot???

I always found the end the hardest part of it when I lose it's in the middle of the jump out

The jump sequence is usually what "makes it or breaks it" for me, if the enemy keeps missing its shots before the camera goes into external view, you're fine. But if they start landing hits on you, just restart the mission and spare yourself a few seconds because now there's no way you're going to be able to jump before you die.

Other than that there's nothing else in the mission that I fail on, I never get caught and I always get everything in the mission scanned.

Re: Anyone else think "playing judas" is a stupid mission?
Whenever I play that mission, I usually wait until Arjuna wing enters the Lucifer before approaching the fighterbay.  Then I can usually best the Manticores by blasting some of them as the exit the bay and switch-dogfight the rest.  Then I go after the sentries near the node and jump out.  Now, if the Lucifer launched a larger compliment of fighters, then I'd skim the Lucifer and hit the jump while it obstructed the enemy fighters.  Also, it should be noted that I play on default difficulty.

If you're good enough, you can dogfight these Manticores on most difficulties.
