Pulsed electrolaser railguns!
So, as I was trawling the internet for weapon ideas and such, I came across this brilliant fusion of future tech:

Wouldn't work in space, but just wanted to share something that could look really cool.

Why not in space? It seems that a vacuum is preferred for his idea.

Re: Pulsed electrolaser railguns!
a traditional railgun would probibly work better in space. theres no atmosphere to turn into a conductive plasma so theres no arcing. in an atmosphere arcing will eat up a rail in no time.
I can no longer sit back and allow communist infiltration, communist indoctrination, communist subversion, and the international communist conspiracy to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids.

Oh you meant the comment at the bottom.

Re: Pulsed electrolaser railguns!
Yeah.  I was talking about using lasers to ionize air, and creating the "rails" out of such air.
