I was really, really happy to hear about the entire scenario. Apparently, the initial launch was not working as planned, but the issue was resolved, and a day or two after the intended launch date, they got the Dragon up and in order for a flawless mission.

Furthermore, I've read the launch system is cheaper than any other current US rocket system, which is also full of win. I CANNOT WAIT for the day that we get the manned capsules up and running, which is also the day we get to stop paying the Russians to put our astronauts in space and train our crews.
