i'm looking to grab the tables for the shivan secondaries, but can't find them anywhere in the Root table. anyone know where I can find them?

Look for entries ending in #Shivan.

If you're looking for the retail tables that volition originally made, the shivan secondary weapons are in the weapons.tbl which is located in the root.vp in your main fs2 folder under data -> tables

The mediavps tables refer to more advanced (better looking) missile models, so get those if you plan to include mediavps_3612 in your secondary list.

For the most part Volition used the player missiles for the shivans.

As stated by the others the MediaVP introduce different looking missiles to correct this.

The only retail Shivan secondaries are bombs. Probably because they are the only one you can target, so they're the only ones they bothered to switch name. They even use the same models than Terran/Vasudan bombs.

Yeah, and those are the FS1 bombs, FS2 bombers used cyclops & helios torpedoes.
Speaking of which, do unknown bombs & mega bombs use diffrent models in the MVP? I can't remember.

If you mean different from Cyclops#Shivan and Helios#Shivan, nope.

thanks guys. I know when you're cycling through the secondary weapons in game that they come up (Rockeye#Shivan, etc., etc.,) but couldn't find em in the weapons table. I was rather confused. I intend to make my weapons tbl into a tbm, but want the shivan weapons secondaries to stay. figured it'd be easier just to include them in my tbm.
