Well,
1) we don't know when this campaign might be set, could be centuries before WoD happened.
2) what's the lifetime of a Zy ? That's probably said somewhere but I don't remember and too lazy to search (also at work).

Zy have a lifespan between 50 and 60 years, but that still leaves a lot of possibilites.

Just to put a few ideas out there:
The campaign might be set in the past (if it really is a campaign... it might also be a story or a video or something), the player is a clone, Liuzqo was put into cold sleep and is now awakenened, or maybe when the real Liuzqo died, the best pilot of the whole Zy race took over this "title" and you play one of his succesors, or you're some young startup Zy pilot eager to be just like his long dead idol...
