Heh, I've just been playing through them over the past few weeks.  1 was fun albeit frustrating at times, and 2 was...not quite as enjoyable.  I'll move on to Guerrilla soon enough, but I don't have Armageddon; I'm not even sure if it'd run on this.

personally i didn't really enjoy either, but i found 2 much easier to get through than 1.  1 is just tedious.

Guerrilla is a very very fun sandboxy affair. Armageddon, is, well..... I don't know what the hell they were thinking; It's still a solid game, but why in the hell did they follow up a rather fun sandbox game with a by-the-numbers third person shooter?

The only reason I might want to grab Armageddon at some point is because of the one vehicle section I've seen in which re-used the original Descent targeting reticule.

That mission is actually pretty fun, and yes there's a section in which you navigate very narrow tunnels.  It is just a linear map though, so don't expect crazy mine tunnel hi-jinks.
