Hi everybody,

As some side note and while I'm working with the Editor at the Flight Skills Mission basics, I would like to bring some Colonial Fleet Ship into attention. A Ship I would really like ...to guard, or wait, I am Cylon - to shoot? Maybe I would like to fly it, wait, Cylons can be Humans, so me, too right? Are our races living in peace or war now, am I more human than you? I know Diaspora is about piloting smaller Spacecraft only. Anyway, such a target like the following Ship deserves no shooting on, because it must be the highest evolved ancient technology and beauty Humans have to offer. If I would have one, dude, I would make it my home. But well, a Raptor would do the same job for me.

Name: Rising Star
Showed in Series: BS Original, new BS
Facts:
- Over 1000 years old (so 151.000 thousand years old I guess)
- Luxury liner of Trans Stellar Spacelines, used for entertainment onboard visits and long range travel
- At least seven decks, everything you can dream of having inside a ship as interior
- Has a seperated access to some commanders deck, making it two ships in one
- used as Medical Ship in new BS Series
- Interior got totaly changed to fit new needs
- served you Humans, was helping with civil transportation out of warzone at Old Caprica
- not only one got produced, it was a stock ship class
- can do space and atmospheric flight, and it can land on ground
- Crew Hold: Unknown
- Measures: Unknown (it's huge i guess)
- Technology: Unknown but human
- Hangars/Docking Bays: Unknown (in my dreams: fitting different small BS faction ships and of course, a Colonial Shuttle)   
- Speed of travel: Unknown
- Weapons: Seems it has none
- One of the Ships besides Colonial One or Botanical Cruiser which IMO needs to be added ingame (to complete Look and Feel of Diaspora)
- It's 'She', not 'It'
- Her Dignity should bring her to life inside Diaspora!

All canon ( nBSG) ships will at some point have their 15 minutes of fame in Diaspora. Can't see a reason why the Rising Star wont.

Just saying, since most of the available nBSG ship lists on the internet wont mention the Rising Star. Many forget this ship or had no closer look at it. The most important thing to me was to post those links with pics showing the ship very detailed - for the ones of honor who will make sure this ship gets to be seen in Diaspora someday.

Of course. Half the team would rather sooner then later have the Enterprise, while the other half can't decide which one to choose, Serenity or Moya.

If you're going to post something here, please don't post model requests from the team. This is for 3rd party missions and campaigns and if you made your own model, sure post it, but it's not the proper place for requests.

Funnily enough we've already had that ship modelled. It will probably be in R2. No promises though since nothing in the plot line insists it must be included.
