For fellow HLP redditors, I am just letting you know that this is now officially back from the dead. Feel free to subscribe and promote(spam? :D). Someone joining me in moderation duties would be appreciated too.

Can you elaborate ? AFAIK, reddit is a good enough place (this is no 4chan !) and does have a lot of activity, which means one more window for HLP in a frequented place.
People are stupid, therefore anything popular is at best suspicious.

Reddit is a horrifying place as a whole - I'd put it on the same level as TVTropes - but it's so huge that individual subreddits (especially those run by cool people!) can be perfectly great. I'm all for it.

Reddit is actually a pretty good site, if you stay away from the big default subreddits and subscribe to some smaller interesting ones.
