Pretty much, yes.  Tall, four armed and spiky.

Do you really want to continue this to its inevitable conclusion?

Grinche. Always thought it was a ridiculous name. Now I know why: it's not the true one, it's some name made up by a stinky translating dude. That's a french stuff changing cool names to dumb ones. Animes are plagued with that here.

Second paragaph.

[q]Condemned to death by Chancellor Sopot, six super-soldiers unite to save their country, vowing to overthrow Sopot using the unique powers that nano-technology has given them. Join the squad as Alias, a demolitions expert. Fight side-by-side with Molov, Repta, Shrike, Tangier, and Quill--each possessing unique attributes and specialties. Battle through diverse environments using vehicles, an arsenal of specialized weapons, and explosives in a mission to overthrow the government. Defeat Sopot and restore the honor of the Commonwealth! [/q]

Man, I wish the VBB was still around.  I'd like to know if they actually did spot my name and liked it or what.......

being a blue haired super soldier isent THAT bad :D

They translated LOTR:FOTR to Estonian changeing every single name to something utterly stupid. There were 1-2 names left the same (Aragorn and Gandalf), the rest were changed to some stupidity from Estonian folklore. They went back to real names in The Two Towers, though.

Thank god I don't read anime

Errr.... how do you do that? :wtf: (unless you mean like... subtitles)

Well, all LotR translations must follow the guidelines created by the Tolkien Institute - that means that there are name changes in most languages. In portuguese there were a lot of changes - like, Rivendell becomes Valfenda, Bag End becomes Bolsão, etc. - but all that is an imposition from the Institute. Tolkien wanted the books to sound authentic in any language, that's the reason for the, sometimes stupid sounding, translations.

something similar happened in sweden, although it was made so bad so christopher tolkien refused to let silmarillion be translated if they didn't fire the original translator (who is dead now, thank you heavens)...

and umm... there's a city named after me. it's called Kode.

In LOTR? Or in reality? There's a Kobe, but I never heard of Kode. :wtf:

Oh, and I thought it was JRR Tolkien, not Christopher.
