It looks good, but the one thing putting me off downloading it is the fact that there seem to be about 12 different sections I need to download. Put them all together in a vp, or at least a single zip file and make it a bit more convenient.

There're some on the website. The potatoe melting plasma things look particularly interesting (specifically designed to take down Ares, methinks)

Anyways, erik, it's ok. But I still don't like the Star Wars music. Also, needs to be a little bit more serious (at least, I get that it's trying to be;)) Also, try to add more info in, like during teh campaign briefings.

First of all people, about the files.
I am quite sorry that it has to be like that. I know it's a pain and I don't like it either, but that's the only way I could've put them there with this server.
I would much rather give u one single, small download, but unfortunately freespace doesn't support mp3 or MIDI. If someone would be able to add that to the code I'll be a  happy man.

After you download all the messy files for the first time you're done though. All updates will be small and one file I believe. I'm gonna add some more planet pictures, maybe stats for more ships (like the installation and freighters), nothing big coming for now.

I really want comments about how the new stats for weapons work for you. What you think should be changed (missiles/ lasers i dunno , stuff like that).

The plasmas (the big ones) are anti-capships.
The small ones (the aragorns) are for any fighter, not just the heavier ones (ares). They also cause considerable damage to cruisers and capship subsystems.

And I guess a potato can melt just like any other substance
In the right temperatures, yes
