The Lucifer's Fate story disscution
I think the three nodes to Sol is the main reason why you have to take FS2 as canon.

FS1 says there are 3 nodes to sol. Only one could possibly have been closed by the destruction of the lucifer so Earth wouldn`t have been cut off. There would be no lost generation so the whole of FS2 (and silent threat for that matter) becomes invalid.

If you take FS2 as canon then a few missions in FS1 become suspect but nothing worse.

True, but FS1 only shows three nodes to sol one time.  The rest of the time it is only one node, so that was a mistake on :v:'s part.  Can someone make a standard node map for all of the known space in FS2, that is accurate as much as possible to BOTH games' plots?

Well we could have cut off the Vasudans from backup at that node then latter on the Vasudans lonched a attack on the system and both sides would have lost alot of ships. I think we need to get some info from the makers of FS2.
